Does après que require the subjunctive?

No, après que does not take the subjunctive:

Par exemple…

Je ferai la vaisselle après que tu seras au lit.
I’ll do the dishes after you’re in bed.

Comparison Note that this conjunction is normally followed by the future, rather than the present tense used in English.

  À noter : The above is correct according to Le Bon Usage and Le Grand Robert, among others. However, so many native speakers mistakenly use the subjunctive after après que that the rules have become muddled. Grammarians wince as the language evolves.
