Translation
And that’s not all! I also have a little pine bough wreath that I hang on my front door, that way my neighbors see it and they think it’s really pretty. Well, ok, ok, but it’s not just that. Above all, Advent marks the start of the new liturgical year according to the church’s calendar.

Translation
During Advent, we spot new colors at the church. Usually, the priest wears a green chasuble. There [during Advent], he wears a purple chasuble. And it looks really good on him! And the third Sunday of Advent, he might wear a pink chasuble. Pink is a lighter purple, to announce the new year to come. Or a faded red. Or a lighter purple.

Translation
Advent is the period during which the faithful get ready to celebrate Christmas. That is,
