French has so many different personal pronouns and adjectives that it can be difficult to remember what they all mean and who goes with what. Here are all of the first person singular personal pronouns and adjectives with examples and links to lessons.

Subject pronoun je j’    
  Je suis ici.
J’ai une idée.
I am here.
I have an idea.
         
Reflexive pronoun me m’    
  Je me regarde.
Je m’habille.
I’m looking at myself.
I’m getting dressed.
         
Direct object pronoun me m’    
  Tu me vois ?
Elle ne m’aime pas.
Do you see me?
She doesn’t love me.
         
Indirect object pronoun me m’    
  Il me parle.
Tu m’as menti !
He’s talking to me.
You lied to me!
         
Stressed pronoun moi      
  Viens avec moi. Come with me.
         
Possessive pronouns le mien la mienne les miens les miennes
  Ce sont les miens. These are mine.
         
Possessive adjectives mon ma mes  
  Mon frère part.
Voici ma maman.
Mes enfants pleurent.
My brother is leaving.
This is my mom.
My kids are crying.
