Solo Speaking Practice

French speaking practice
Even without a confinement order, it can sometimes be difficult to find other people to practice speaking French with. Believe it or not, there are quite a few ways that you can practice on your own, and they can help you feel more comfortable when you do meet someone face-to-face.

Dire - to say, to tell

Dire - French verb
Dire is one of the most common and useful French verbs and has irregular conjugations. It literally means "to say" or "to tell," and is also found in many idiomatic expressions.

Pronunciation Tools

French pronunciation tools
There's no replacement for studying French pronunciation with a native speaker, but that's not always in the cards (or budget). For students who are limited to studying on their own, there's an online course and a couple of good book-and-CD programs that can help you improve your French pronunciation.

French Ramadan vocabulary
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. During this holy month, nearly all Muslims are required to fast during daylight hours (sunrise to sunset).

Être au rendez-vous

Être au rendez-vous

Verbs with de

French verbs with de
